ANSWER:

The chest ct on the previous page indicates there is a mass-like density surrounding the right hilum which may represent a combination of parenchymal consolidation and lymph nodes. A large area of the right lung is opacified with bronchiectatic-like lesions which have a more sacular contour peripherally. This may present abscess formation.

These findings may suggest an infectious process and, although a neoplastic process is possible, it is less likely.
